Rental Terms The properties known as ‘La Chataignier’ and ‘Le Tournesol’ are offered for holiday rental subject to the following conditions. 1) On receipt of the deposit of one-third of the total rental, the booking will be confirmed. This is the formal acceptance of the booking. 2) The balance of the rent, together with the security deposit (see clause 3) is payable not later than 8 weeks before the start of the renting period. 3) A security deposit of £200 is required to cover any damage to the property or it’s contents or any additional cleaning required at the end of the letting period. The balance due will be refunded within 2 weeks of the end of the letting period. 4) In the event of a cancellation, refunds of amounts paid will be made if the owner is able to re-let the property. 5) Clients are advised to take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy, including personal, public liability etc. since these are not included in the owner’s insurance. 6) The maximum number to reside in the property must not exceed that stated on the booking form. 7) Clients agree to take good care of the properties and leave them in the same condition as they find them, fully cleaned, tidy and ready for the next occupants. 8) The rental period will commence at 5pm on the first day and finish at 10am on the last day. 9) Under no circumstances shall the owner’s liability to the client exceed the amount paid for the rental period.
